S. S. Girls’ College, Gondia is one well known and most leading girl’s college of Gondia district. It was established in 1970 under Gondia Education Society to spread the light of knowledge and education among the society and economically backward society. Since its inception the college is working for the holistic development of women i.e. enlighten, empower and socially uplift women through access to higher education.
By considering the rapidly changing global standards of education, it was felt that world class infrastructure should be raised in this institution for this backward area. Hence effort are made consistently to equip the institution with the state of art, laboratories and research facilities in order to train and groom these rural students to meet global challenges.
