S. S. Girls’ College, Gondia is one well known and most leading girl’s college of Gondia district. It was established in 1970 under Gondia Education Society to spread the light of knowledge and education among the society and economically backward society. Since its inception the college is working for the holistic development of women i.e. enlighten, empower and socially uplift women through access to higher education.
By considering the rapidly changing global standards of education, it was felt that world class infrastructure should be raised in this institution for this backward area. Hence effort are made consistently to equip the institution with the state of art, laboratories and research facilities in order to train and groom these rural students to meet global challenges.
I hope the students world prove true to the global of the institution.

S. S. Girls’ College is one of the most leading girls’ College in the Gondia district affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. It is flourishing under the presidentship of Mrs. Varsha Praful Patel. The college was started with its goal centered firmly around women’s program in educational, social and cultural fields. I am greatly pleased & amused that college is running many job oriented and indigenous course for social development and employment. It is very appreciable that college is making all efforts to groom the all round personality development of the girl’s students and make them employable to withstand global competition.
