Jewellery Making Certificate Course Organized at S.S. Girls’ College Gondia

A Jewelry Making Certificate Course was organized at S.S. Girls’ College, Gondia, run by the Gondia Education Society, in collaboration with BOI Star RSETI, Gondia. The program was conducted under the valuable guidance of the patron of the Gondia Education Society, Respected Praful Bhai Patel, President Respected Varsha Tai Patel, Secretary Respected Rajendra Ji Jain, and Director Respected Nikhil Ji Jain, and with the leadership and support of the college Principal Respected Dr. Sharda Mahajan.

The course was formally inaugurated by Principal Dr. Sharda Mahajan and Mrs. Ashwini Tembhurnikar from RSETI.

After the inauguration, the registration of students was completed and the course commenced.

In the modern era, greater emphasis is being placed on start-ups, small-scale industries, and entrepreneurship. With the objective of helping youth establish themselves in the field of business and develop skills required to compete with larger companies, this certificate course was organized.

The chief trainer and speaker, Mrs. Chetna Patil from Jalgaon, conducted the training sessions. Mr. Abdul Wasim (Director, RSETI) along with Mr. Arvind and Mrs. Ashwini also provided important guidance related to Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) and employment opportunities through various sessions during the course.

During the training program, students created various types of jewelry using materials such as jute, wooden, fabric, glass beads, silk thread, leather, flowers, terracotta, chilled beads, shells, and fusion materials.

Students were also trained in costing and labeling of the jewelry produced during the training.

To showcase the jewelry made by the students, an RSETI Bazaar was organized where citizens of Gondia city were invited to view and appreciate the creativity and skills of the students.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Sharda Mahajan congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of self-employment. She also encouraged the students by purchasing some of their jewelry.

All participating students were awarded certificates.

The staff and students of the college congratulated and appreciated the trained participants.

The successful organization of the training program was made possible with the efforts of Coordinator Dr. Gokula Bhalerao and Dr. Ishwari Khatwani, along with supporting faculty members Dr. Madhuri Khobragade, Prof. Deepti Chute, Prof. Rashmi Randive, and the cooperation of all teaching and non-teaching staff of the college as well as all members of RSETI.
