Home Economics Department Organizes Nayi Udaan Purani Yaade : Farewell and Welcome Programme

Under the successful guidance of Gondia Education Society, the Home Economics Department of S.S. Girls College, Gondia, organized a grand programme titled “Nayi Udaan Purani Yaade” to welcome the first-year MA students and bid farewell to the second-year MA students.
The event was held under the able patronage of Hon. Prafulbhai Patel (Chief Patron), Hon. Varshatai Patel (Chairperson), Hon. Rajendraji Jain (Secretary), and Hon. Nikhilji Jain (Director), and under the dynamic leadership and support of the college Principal, Hon. Dr. Sharda Mahajan.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp (Deep Prajwalan). Dr. G.A. Bhalerao, Head of the Home Economics Department, delivered the welcome address. In her presidential speech, Principal Dr. Sharda Mahajan guided the students and extended her best wishes for a bright future.
Dr. Jain (In-charge, Arts Faculty), Dr. G.A. Bhalerao, Dr. Madhuri Khobragade, Prof. Deepti Brahmankar, and Prof. Rashmi Randive also addressed the gathering, offering heartfelt blessings to all MA first-year and second-year students and presenting them with notebooks as a token of welcome.
On this occasion, the second-year MA students shared their memorable experiences. The student representative, Ku. Payal Waghade, along with Saloni Tadekar, Sonali Sardare, Ranju Harde, Yukti Mane, Neelam Mane, Mamta Lilhare, Namrata Bhivgade, Achal Chanap, Bhumeshwari Raut, Priyanka Turkar, and Rohini Iskape, expressed their feelings and gratitude.
The programme was efficiently anchored by Nupur Thantharate, a first-year MA student. The vote of thanks was proposed by Saloni Tandekar, a second-year MA student.
The success of the programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Dr. G.A. Bhalerao (Head, Home Economics Department), Dr. Madhuri Khobragade, Prof. Deepti Brahmankar, Prof. Rashmi Randive, and the first-year MA students: Nupur Thantharate, Laxmi Dadure, Neha Khandwaye, Santoshi Sakhare, Maya Padhre, Sheetal Vadhive, Leena Undirwade, Mangla Katre, Anjali Sursaut, Ritika Tamrkar, Rupa Kunjam, Nalini Thakare, Pooja Vadhai, Reshma Parteeti, Surbhi Bahekar, Pragya Shende, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
The programme beautifully blended nostalgia with new beginnings, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of all students and faculty members.
