Gondia Education Society is a well known largest education society in the vidharbh region of Maharashtra serving quality education. The society was established on 8th December, 1958. The society was formed by Late Shri. Manoharbhai Patel, to improve the level of education especially in the region of Bhandara and Gondia district of Maharashtra. He was a great visionary and high demander person who initiated to gather support for establishing the first girl’s college in gondia district.
S. S. Girls’ College gondia was established in 1970. He started the girl’s college with the motto “यत्र नार्यस्तु पुज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता” which is fully dedicated for noble cause of women’s education. It was our visionary “BHABUJI” Late Shri. Manoharbhai Patel, the founder president of Gondia Education Society who started our women’s college with only 70 students to impart quality education to them to face the challenging world.
According to him a women with the power of knowledge is not week but empowered with various quality which make her personality multifaceted.
